The Swine Line

Do yourself a favor and watch this, a six-minute segment of Sen. Jim DeMint’s (R-S.C.) speech against this monstrous omnibus budget bill on the floor of the U.S. Senate today.  The citizens of South Carolina and taxpayers around this nation owe a debt of gratitude to him, and the others like him, in the House and Senate, who stood up and opposed this travesty of a budget bill.  We don’t have all the gorey details yet, but you can bet that Sen. DeMint and his band of merry earmark-busters (CAGW among them) have already started excavating this bill and we’ll be at it for months to come.  And there is a lot of dirt in this bill.
